Driven by Performance. Built for Athletes.
SWYMLINE was born out of a simple, undeniable truth: dryland
swim training works, but staring at a blank wall doesn’t.
Whether you are an elite swimmer chasing fractions of a
second or a time-crunched triathlete balancing work, family, and training,
getting quality water time is one of the biggest hurdles in endurance sports.
Dryland ergometer training offers the ultimate, uninterrupted environment to
build raw power and perfect stroke mechanics, yet for years, it lacked the
engagement, structured feedback, and immersive drive that cyclists and runners
have enjoyed for a decade.
SWYMLINE was created to bridge that gap, turning cold,
repetitive garage sessions into dynamic, data-driven virtual workouts.
The Founder’s Journey: Michael Sturgess
SWYMLINE’s founder, Michael Sturgess, spent over 15 years as a competitive swimmer, racing at both National and International levels. Raised in the demanding culture of high-performance swimming, Michael trained under a world-class coach who guided athletes to the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, and Commonwealth Games.
That elite environment taught Michael two fundamental lessons that shape SWYMLINE today:
- Technique under fatigue is everything.
- Consistency requires purpose and engagement.
Our Mission
We believe that dryland training shouldn't feel like a compromise—it should be your secret weapon.
SWYMLINE is built to connect seamlessly with world-class ergometer hardware (like Vasa and SwimFast by KayakPro) to give athletes total control over their training. No crowded public lanes, no lost commute hours, and no mindless staring at the wall—just pure, unadulterated performance tracking, right from home.
"We didn't build SWYMLINE just to log meters. We built it to give swimmers and triathletes their time back, without sacrificing a single watt of power."
— Michael Sturgess, Founder
